A unique partnership between automotive manufacturer and service and parts provider will provide maintenance services for Canadians MV-1 owners, including the compressed natural gas version of the vehicle.

NAPA AUTOPRO and MV-1 Canada are teaming up to meet the specific needs of wheelchair users and the people who transport them.

MV-1 Canada is the exclusive Canadian distributor of the MV-1, the first factory-built mobility vehicle engineered from the ground up for wheelchair accessibility.

With this agreement, vehicle service and maintenance care provider NAPA AUTOPRO will now provide MV-1 warranty service and maintenance to MV-1 customers.

New vehicle companies usually associate themselves with a national car dealership network to handle sales, distribution and servicing. MV-1 Canada has approached this model differently, separating sales from maintenance and warranty service.

"This innovative arrangement between NAPA AUTOPRO and MV-1 Canada changes how the MV-1 will be serviced in Canada" said John Walsh, CEO of Vehicle Production Group, the U.S. manufacturer of the MV-1. "I am very excited and proud of Canada's unique approach."

By uniting with NAPA AUTOPRO, Vehicle Production Group (VPG) says MV-1 customers will receive first class maintenance & repair at convenient locations all across Canada.

"NAPA is very excited to have selected locations certified to provide warranty service, parts and maintenance for the MV-1 in Canada" said Chris Thorne, NAPA AUTOPRO national director. The MV-1 is a great vehicle that is really improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and those who care for them".

NAPA AUTOPRO has recently been awarded "Highest Overall Customer Satisfaction Among Service Provider Brands, Two Years in a Row" in the proprietary J.D. Power and Associates 2011-2012 Canadian Customer Commitment Studies.

MV1- Canada says it is focused on service and puts the specific needs of their customers first by ensuring individuals, taxi and transit organizations purchasing the MV-1 receive a high quality, honest and consistent customer experience.

VPG says its MV-1 is the first factory-built mobility vehicle designed from the ramp up to provide accessible transportation to fleets, municipalities and individuals with physical challenges.

The MV-1 has a compressed natural gas (CNG) powertrain option to reduce operating expenses and carbon emissions and is the only accessible vehicle that comes with a bumper-to-bumper warranty. MV-1 Canada was involved in the conception and design of the MV-1.
